Ascog Hall, with it's
award-winning Victorian fernery and enchanting garden, can be found on
the beautiful island of Bute in the Clyde estuary - only a virtual stone's
throw from Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Without
a doubt, our most remarkable feature is the rare sunken Victorian
fernery, rescued from ruin and restored to its former glory
in 1997. Not to be missed!

Prepare
to be captivated by the garden (3 acres) also restored after
decades of neglect, yet still retaining the ambience of a
much older garden, evocative of bygone days.

The
fernery and garden are open from Easter to end of October (closed
Mondays and Tuesdays). The house is not open to the public.
